VANS Downtown Show Down - 2013

I was at the Vans DTSD last month for the "Live Painting" part of the event. Here's a couple of pictures.

We only had 6 hrs to get this done and I work pretty slow to get stuff done and also I don't really like drawing in front of people. So I sketched this all out in the studio on pages from an old book and then finished at DTSD as the live painting. Its also the first time I've used a paintbrush and Ink on my work. 

So stoked to meet Russ Pope and also J Croft, what a bunch of legends!! It was rad getting a skate in on the practice day. The whole group of artists involved were super cool and so friendly.
